The Cape Breton Capers overcame a resilient StFX X-Women squad to earn a 71-52 victory Saturday evening. It marked the second straight won for the Capers over the X-Women, having previously won at home Thursday night.

The StFX X-Women travelled to Charlottetown, P.E.I. this past weekend for their first pre-season exhibition action with a pair of games against the Holland College Hurricanes. With seven returners from last season's roster and an addition of six new players to the line-up, the X-Women have a good combination of youth, athleticism and size.
