    The U SPORTS No. 1 ranked StFX X-Women finished the AUS regular season with a 6-0 record, capped by a 51-12 win over the second place Acadia Axewomen.

    StFX X-Women rugby player June Beals and UNB Varsity Reds men's hockey player Stephen Anderson have been named the Subway AUS Athletes of the Week for their respective performances for this past week.

    The U SPORTS No. 1 ranked StFX X-Women defeated the Concordia Stingers by a lopsided 74-15 margin in exhibition play Saturday afternoon in Montreal.
  • X-Women fall to Gee Gee's in exhibition play

    The Gee-Gees women’s rugby team wasn’t phased when the U SPORTS No. 1 ranked StFX X-Women roared back to tie the score at 14-14 early in the second half. Instead, the Garnet and Grey went on a 19-0 run to capture a meaningful 33-19 exhibition victory in a rematch of the 2016 U SPORTS national final.

    June Beals had four first-half tries as the StFX X-Women defeated the Saint Mary’s Huskies 89-7 Wednesday night in AUS women’s rugby action from Huskies Stadium.

    On a beautiful Homecoming Sunday autumn afternoon at Oland Stadium, the U SPORTS No. 1 ranked X-Women defeated the UPEI Panthers by a score of 93-0.

  • X-Women top Axewomen 57-14 in the battle of AUS top teams

    On a warm fall afternoon at Oland Stadium the Acadia Axewomen felt the heat of the U SPORTS No. 1 ranked StFX X-Women as the home squad played to a 57-14 win, improving to 3-0 on the season and taking sole possession of first place in the AUS standings over the nationally ranked No. 10 Axewomen (2-1).

    The defending national champion X-Women rugby team earned their second consecutive lopsided victory in AUS competition this season, this time a 90-0 win over the UPEI Panthers.

    As StFX students return to campus and renew acquaintances, few will have better ‘how I spent my summer vacation’ stories than X-Women rugby players Alison Blanchard, a 4th year scrum-half from Hering Cove, Nova Scotia; and Merrit Blair, a 4th year wing from Ottawa, Ontario.  This past summer Alison and Merrit lived every rugby player’s dream:  playing rugby in New Zealand.
