The StFX X-Men improved to 5-3-3 with a 2-0 road win over the Acadia Axemen in AUS soccer action Sunday afternoon in Wolfville.
Mark Harpur opened the scoring for the X-Men in the 20th minute.
Midfielder Randy Ribeiro added an insurance marker in the 89th minute.
Steve Rodenhizer made three saves to earn the shutout.
The X-Men outshot the Axemen 11-5.
StFX will wrap up the regular season with a pair of home matches.
Friday, Oct. 25, the X-Men will host the rival Cape Breton University Capers at Oland Stadium.
Game time is 5:15 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 27, the Memorial SeaHawks will be in Antigonish for a 1 p.m. kick-off.
