STFX Student-Athlete Registration
THIS REGISTRATION PROCESS IS REQUIRED and is to be COMPLETED by ALL STFX VARSITY STUDENT-ATHLETES - Please refer to appropriate section (New/Transfer student-athletes or Returning student-athletes)

Here’s what you need to complete to register as a new, incoming STFX student-athlete or a transfer student-athlete, detailed instructions for each step are included below:
- Register at U SPORTS Central to get your U SPORTS ID number - Anytime
- Complete the NCCP Safe Sport Training online course - Anytime
- Complete the STFX PPE History Form (Pre-Preparticipation Physical Evaluation) and Book a Medical Exam - Anytime
- Complete the STFX Medical Intake Form and Mental Health Screen - Emailed from STFX Athletic Therapy
- Complete the U SPORTS & AUS Acknowledgement and Consent on U SPORTS Central - After July 15
- Register as a STFX student-athlete on the STFX Student-Athlete Portal - After July 15th
- Complete the Sport Integrity Canada Anti-Doping Learning online course - After July 15th
⇒ New/Transfer Student-Athletes Detailed Instructions:
1. Register at U SPORTS Central (anytime)
If you’ve already done this during recruitment or a previous season, you're all set. If not, register now and save your U SPORTS ID number for future use:

After you register, please email your U SPORTS ID number to Heather Landry, hlandry@stfx.ca.
2. Complete the NCCP Safe Sport Training Course (online - anytime)
This is a requirement for all U SPORTS athletes. It takes about 90 minutes and must be completed before training camp.

3. Complete the STFX PPE History Form & Book a Medical Exam (anytime)
- Download, print and fill out the top section of the Pre-Preparticipation Physical Evaluation (PPE) form:
→ STFX PPE History Form - Book an appointment with your physician or nurse practitioner for a medical exam and bring this form with you for the medical professional to complete.
- Bring the completed form with you to training camp. It’s smart to save an electronic copy, too!
- Note: Incoming STFX student-athletes will not be able to participate in any form of team-related physical activity on campus until this completed form is submitted to the Athletic Therapy Staff.
4. Complete the STFX Medical Intake Form and Mental Health Screen (emailed)
The STFX Medical Intake Form and Mental Health Screen will be emailed to you from the STFX Athletic Therapy staff once you receive confirmation of your individual appointment for your brief in-person medical intake on campus during training camp.
5. Complete the U SPORTS & AUS Acknowledgement and Consent on U SPORTS Central (after July 15th)
Login to U SPORTS Central with your U SPORTS ID number and complete the U SPORTS & AUS Acknowledgement and Consent - complete all three steps on this acknowledgement.

6. Register as a Student-Athlete at STFX (after July 15th)
- Go to https://goxgo.athletesystems.ca
- Click 'Create Your Own Account'
- Enter your name and email
- A registration link will be emailed to you—check your junk/spam folder if you don’t see it.
- Follow the link to set your password (make a note of it!).
You are able to log back in and complete sections individually, they don't all have to be completed in the same sitting.
7. Complete the Sport Integrity Canada Anti-Doping Learning Course (online - after July 15th)
All U SPORTS athletes must complete this course every year. Follow the step-by-step instructions carefully.

Here’s what you need to complete to register as a returning STFX student-athlete, detailed instructions for each step are included below:
- Complete the STFX Medical Intake Form and Mental Health Screen - Emailed from STFX Athletic Therapy
- Complete the U SPORTS & AUS Acknowledgement and Consent on U SPORTS Central - After July 15
- Register as a STFX student-athlete on the STFX Student-Athlete Portal - After July 15th
- Complete the Sport Integrity Canada Anti-Doping online course - After July 15th
⇒ Returning Student-Athletes Detailed Instructions:
1. Complete the STFX Medical Intake Form and Mental Health Screen (emailed)
The STFX Medical Intake Form and Mental Health Screen will be emailed to you from the STFX Athletic Therapy staff once you receive confirmation of your individual appointment for your brief in-person medical intake on campus during training camp. All STFX athletes must complete both forms annually.
2. Complete the U SPORTS & AUS Acknowledgement and Consent on U SPORTS Central (after July 15th)
Login to U SPORTS Central with your U SPORTS ID number and complete the U SPORTS & AUS Acknowledgement and Consent - complete all three steps on this acknowledgement. All STFX student-athletes must complete this acknowledgement annually.

3. Register as a Student-Athlete at STFX (after July 15th)
- Login directly at https://goxgo.athletesystems.ca
- Use your existing email and password
You are able to log back in and complete sections individually, they don't all have to be completed in the same sitting.
4. Complete the Sport Integrity Canada Anti-Doping Learning Course (online - after July 15th)
All U SPORTS athletes must complete this course every year. Follow the step-by-step instructions carefully.

For any team requiring the payment of Team Fees, payment can be processed online.

✅ (OPTIONAL) Concussion Awareness Training Tool
The online course is endorsed by U SPORTS and provides in-depth concussion education. It is an optional tool available for use by all U SPORTS student-athletes and is a program designed to provide high performance athletes with the information they need to take an evidence-based approach in responding to and managing concussion. The online course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
