Getting to Know...Dylan Lawrence

X-Men soccer midfielder Dylan Lawrence is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Dylan recently completed his second year with the X-Men and is a Business student from Ottawa, Ont.

Nickname:  I guess a lot of people just call me Dyl.

My favorite moment to date as a StFX student-athlete is…?
My first time stepping onto the field as an X-Man. I'll never forget the nerves and the excitement I experienced that day.

If I could be Prime Minister for one day I would…?
I'd probably take my private jet over to the west coast, and then take a scenic helicopter ride over the mountains.

My favorite Disney movie or character is…?
Toy Story 3, hands down.

My biggest pet peeve is…?
When people mistake using "you're" and "your".

My dream job is…?
CEO of Tacklebox Productions.

One thing I love about StFX is…?
Hard to pick one thing but I'd probably have to say Matt Lannan.

Tell us something interesting about your hometown?
The majority of Ottawa's population is younger than 35, making it one of the youngest cities in Canada.
