Getting to Know...Shannon Hatch

X-Women basketball forward Shannon Hatch is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Shannon recently completed her third year with the X-Women and is an Arts student from Arzo, Switzerland.

My favorite moment to date as a StFX student-athlete is…?
When we won our AUS semi-final game in overtime against PEI during my second year to make it to the final.

If I could be Prime Minister for one day I would…?
Announce a national holiday and tell everyone to enjoy some quality time with family and friends.

My favorite Disney movie or character is…?
It is a toss-up between Basel the Detective and The Lion King

My biggest pet peeve is…?
When people chew with their mouths open.

My dream job is…?
I am not quite sure yet, but something sport's related would be really cool.

One thing I love about StFX is…?
Just how friendly and nice everyone is.

It is a five-minute walk to Italy.
