In what can only be described as less than desirable playing conditions, the U SPORTS No. 2-ranked StFX X-Women defeated the host SMU Huskies 86-0 on Wednesday evening in Atlantic University Sport women’s rugby action from Huskies Stadium.

X-Women defeat Panthers 83-5

The U SPORTS No. 2 ranked StFX X-Women defeated the UPEI Panthers by 83-5 margin on a misty Homecoming Friday night, and, in doing so, honoured the recently inducted StFX Sports Hall of Fame 2006 national championship team who were in attendance.

In a battle of U SPORTS top 10 teams, the No. 2 StFX X-Women came out on top against the visiting No. 8 Acadia Axewomen with a 36-17 victory Saturday afternoon.

X-Women defeat Huskies in AUS rugby opener

On a beautiful Friday evening at Oland Stadium in fornt of 300 fans, the AUS women’s rugby season got underway in what has become the traditional opening fixture between the Saint Mary’s Huskies and the StFX X-Women. This time the defending AUS champion X-Women came out on top with a 76-12 victory.
