Kelly MacDonald runs to victory in MacPass race
Veteran X-Women cross country runner Kelly MacDonald won the ladies open mile race at the 17th Annual MacPass race held this past Sunday in Halifax.
A native of Montague, PEI and a five year runner with the X program, MacDonald ran to victory with a time of 5:09, placing first amongst 65 competitors. She bettered Halifax’s Rebecca Reeves (5:23) and Leah Jabbour (5:34) who came in second and third spots, respectively. The runners race over the Angus L. Macdonald bridge spanning Halifax Harbour.
