Atlantic University Sport is pleased to announce the 2017-18 regular season sport schedules for men’s and women’s basketball, hockey and volleyball, as well as the hosts for the 2018 AUS winter championships.

The UPEI Panthers (11-9) came from behind to defeat the StFX X-Women (1-19) by a 66-60 score in overtime Saturday evening from the StFX Oland Centre.

Varsity Reds clinch playoff bye with victory over X-Women

The UNB Varsity Reds (15-5) wrapped up AUS regular season play with a 71-32 victory over the StFX X-Women (1-18). With the win the Varsity Reds clinch at least second place in the conference standings and secure themselves a first round bye at the Subway AUS Championship next weekend in Halifax.

The Axewomen (8-9) dominated play over the visiting StFX X-Women (1-17) in a four-point 84-47 win Friday at the annual Shoot for the Cure night.

X-Women drop second game of weekend to Varsity Reds

The UNB Varsity Reds pulled off their second victory of the weekend, 56-42 against the StFX X-Women. UNB faced a much tougher opponent Sunday then yesterday, when they defeated the X-Women by 36 points (54-18). StFX more than doubled their scoring output from the previous day.

The UNB Varsity Reds held the StFX X-Women off the scoreboard for the first 3:56 of the game - and scoreless for the entire fourth quarter - on their way to a 54-18 victory.
